my story

I have always been an artist, since holding a brush when I was three, being visually creative is something I have an undying passion for.

I began painting professionally back in March 2020, during the pandemic and I was furloughed from my office role. I began painting pet portraits for family and friends, when suddenly, thanks to word of mouth, I was able to support myself with my art, something I feel very privileged to be able to do, nor was it something that I ever thought was possible.

In this time, I developed a love for watercolour, learning about all the possibilities and fully exploring all the magic of this wonderful medium.

I now still work with watercolour and gouache, but I also paint digitally too. Working with a multiutude of mediums allows me to learn and develop my style in many interesting ways, as well as combine techniques for unique effects.

Now based in Bristol, I am constantly inspired by the natural world around us. Combining this with my love for Rococo and maximalism art, I aim to evoke a sense of joy and celebration of colour in all my works. My influences always draw me back to combining the imaginary with the natural, the traditional with the modern, and I hope you can see this reflected within my work.

I now am a huge advocate of small businesses, speaking at Universities and offering mentor support to those who want to start their own art or craft side hustle. I am able to do what I love, thanks to the wonderful customers, family, and friends who have supported me along the way. I feel very lucky!
